Big Balloon was written to be much more of a lounge song, but was transformed into the upbeat pop/rock rendition by Aaron Thomas influence in the percussion.

This is featuring the bass work of a life long go to player for Ezra Bart Sweazea who passed in the summer of 14.

The string players Ezra Thomas found in desperation on craigs list (or a similar site), the worked for $50 a piece in Ezra's home studio to written parts. The parts were not done very well, so some of what seems to be passionate disharmonies notes, are actually them fucking up.
