Ezra Vancil returns to his acoustic Americana roots on the album 'You.' The album he calls a 'History of Love'—with songs that delve into the complex seasons of his own decade-long second marriage; that also nearly ended in divorce. His lyrical themes and earthy vocals are sometimes full of tangible longings, sometimes heart-rending; at other times they reach for a more playful intimate look into the bedroom. As always, Ezra opens a window into the wounded heart's vulnerable pilgrimage through life and love.
